Welcome to the

Providence Bay Park

Camping on Manitoulin Island and want something near the beach?

We got you! Providence Bay is a historic south shore Manitoulin port, that faces out into the great Lake Huron. The Ojibwe name for Providence Bay is actually Bedikodawangog which translates as ‘where the sands curve around the bay’. This epic location has bragging rights as one of the best beaches on Manitoulin Island with it’s beautiful soft sand, and epic boardwalk. Our family owned and run park welcomes you only steps away, and just across the street from its entrance.

“Providence Bay Park represents the very best Northern Ontario has to offer – an affordable natural retreat with a community atmosphere.”

— Julie Merk, Artist
